traveling is fun on its own. what about traveling with a purpose? now that’s even better.
out of randomness, i suddenly remembered doulos, the famous floating bookstore which sailed to ports all over the world. i was able to buy cheap but nice books there, twice when it was in manila, once when it was in subic. of course, i wasn’t able to catch it while it was in cebu. they won’t be docking in the philippines this year, but i’m hoping they’ll come back sooner :)
and there’s another famous ship of good-will, the rainbow warrior, also known as the flagship of greenpeace. i’ve always dreamed of being part of this organization, but never tried joining for some weird reason. o_0 but nevertheless, i’m glad that there is such an organization that REALLY works.

a lot of people, especially narnia fans, are anticipating the movie set to be released late this year. not only that, the game version was also targeted to be released at the same time. i’m not as impressed with the game trailer, you can view it here.
