the devil wears prada
a friend and i were having coffee over at abs-cbn last year, passed by a bookshop and was curious about the cover of this book and its title. the devil wears prada. the story may not be as enlightening as reading gaardner, coelho or kundera, but it’s a good and funny read if you want to break away from stress. imagine carrie bradshaw as an apprentice to an evil (yet fahionable) magazine editor who never drinks water unless it’s perrier.
while doing a search on the book cover, i discovered that they’re making a movie out of it. meryl streep plays the “devil in prada”, anne hathaway as the lead character, andrea. i wonder how this’ll turn out; i hope this will be good because streep’s in it. :P
and oh, my take on the book? i’ve also posted some of the books i’ve read in my tabulas blog. (love the service there. too bad i’ve already posted a lot in blogspot, crossposting can be a headache!)
