macbook pro battery exchange program

the philippines is one of the english-speaking countries favored by the growing demand for callcenters. other countries get the service they paid for while the filipinos get the worst customer service ever, ironic isn’t it?

i’ve heard about apple’s impressive worldwide support, but i’ve doubted they’d extend that reputation here. after learning that my laptop was eligible for a free battery exchange, i immediately signed up online and, true to their word, they delivered the package within 4 business days. they even included a pre-paid return courier bag where i’m supposed to put the old battery. amazing. i wish the filipinos could experience more of this kind of service.

i’m very tempted to keep my old battery hehe, but the instruction says my warranty would be void if i fail to return it. :)
